ABOUT THE PRODUCTION

We are currently casting the pilot for: ‘Who the fuck is Madison?

A Vertical Web-Series (9 episodes, approx. 15-20 minutes total runtime). The series is specifically designed for mobile viewing and social media platforms.

  • Format: Vertical (9:16) Web-Series
  • Episodes: 9 Episodes
  • Production Company: Lorentzen Film
  • Filming Dates: 2-3 shooting days in total, scheduled during February 2026
  • Location: City/Area, Copenhagen

The Story:

Katie (20s) is smart, self-aware, and currently spiraling. She’s 99% sure her boyfriend is cheating, but she’s determined to handle it with “grace” (and a lot of frantic over-analyzing). We follow her struggle to keep it together while her self-esteem does gymnastics. It’s messy, it’s relatable, and it’s a little bit heartbreaking—but mostly, it’s funny.

VISUAL AMBITION

Unlike the wave of low-budget social media content, “Who the fuck is Madison?” is a high-end production with a professional Nordic Noir aesthetic. 

We will be a small tight crew of 3-4 people.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

The series is filmed in English.

  • Lead Role: We are specifically looking for a female Native English or American actor for the lead role.

  • Other Roles: Open to actors from any background, provided you speak fluent or near-fluent English.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

    • Rate: DKK 2,000 per day.

    • Catering: Full catering and refreshments provided on all shoot days.

    • Credits: Official IMDb credit.

    • Material: Professional high-quality footage (9:16) provided for your showreel.

ROLES WE ARE SEEKING

No formal acting education required. We are looking for authenticity, personality, and a natural presence on camera. Whether you are a professional actor or a newcomer with the right energy, we want to hear from you!

  • KATIE: (Female, 20s) She has great self-awareness and a dry sense of humor. We need an actress who can deliver fast-paced English dialogue and capture that perfect mix of “I’m totally fine” and “I’m losing my mind.” English fluent!

  • OSCAR: (Male late 20s)  Oscar is the boyfriend. He’s charming, effortless, and has that annoying ability to make Katie feel like she’s the crazy one just by raising an eyebrow. He’s the guy who walks into a room and everything feels easier—until you notice he’s hiding his phone screen. Any background/nationality. We love a good accent!

  • NOAH: (Male late 20s start 30s) Noah is smart, good looking capable, and very interested in Katie. The problem? He spends his days trying to impress her with “casual” displays of competence, niche facts,  but he remains firmly in her peripheral vision. Any background/nationality. We love a good accent!

SOCIAL MEDIA & EXPOSURE

Please be aware that this project is designed specifically for a digital-first audience. Trailers and clips from the series will be promoted heavily across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. Applicants must be comfortable with high-level visibility on these platforms.

Special Requirement for KATIE: The character of Katie has her own dedicated profiles on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook as part of the story’s universe. The actress cast as Katie must be willing to:

  • Participate in creating “in-character” posts and short-form content.

  • Perform occasional “social media take-overs” on the character’s profiles.

Further details regarding the social media strategy and content schedule will be discussed during the later stages of the casting process.
